How do I delete my account?+
Two options. Both wipe your profile, photos, messages, and album entries within 30 days.
From the app (fastest): open huk → Settings → Delete account → confirm.
By email:from the address on your account, send “delete my account” to support@hukapp.io. We’ll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
How do I request a copy of my data, or exercise other GDPR rights?+
Email support@hukapp.io from the address on your account. Tell us which right you’re exercising — access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent. We respond within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.
I want to report a bug or a crash.+
Send a short description and (if you can) a screenshot, plus your iOS version and the huk app version (Settings → About) to support@hukapp.io. We read every one.
I want to report another user or content.+
Use the in-app Reportbutton — you’ll find it on profiles, events, and stay listings, and on individual messages in group chats. Reports are read by a human within 24 hours. See Community Guidelines for the full flow.
I’m under 18. Can I use huk?+
No. huk is for adults only. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are removed immediately. If you’re a parent or guardian and believe a minor has signed up, email support@hukapp.io and we’ll act on it.
Can other people see my location?+
No. Your location is never shown to anyone on huk. The most another member can see is a rough distance — and only if you allow it. To switch even that off, toggle Hide distance in the app, or revoke the location permission in iOS Settings. We never share your precise coordinates with other users.
Lost access to your sign-in email?+
Email us from any address with as many details as you can about the account (display name, approximate sign-up date) — we’ll work with you to verify identity and either restore access or delete the account.
How do I report a security issue?+
Send the details to support@hukapp.io with “Security” in the subject line. Don’t share proof-of-concepts publicly until we’ve had a chance to fix the issue.
